Hello, my name is Chloe Looker and I’m the human behind all of this work!

I’m based in San Francisco, CA and am interested in how design can connect people in unique ways. I’m currently freelancing for MacFadden & Thorpe (among other clients).

My practice is inspired by the rich history of self publishing and public or collaborative art making, as well as the natural world. It’s built on four years of strategic marketing and communications experience in service of clean energy and climate policy.

In addition, I’m a co-founder and designer of GRL GRP, a feminist design collective based in the Bay Area. Together, we were the 2024 Design Fellows at Headlands Center for the Arts. Learn more about GRL GRP on our website.

I enjoy using craft based techniques to create graphic languages with personality.

For fun, I love birdwatching, spending time outside with my dog, Archie and taking photos of flowers and signage.
