Mushroom Moving Collage

After diving deep into fungi research, I created this animated collage from some of the imagery I found mixed with some of my own photographs.
This project launched my love, appreciation, and fascination with mycelium. The slow motion of the collage mirrors the slow, but steady growth of mycellium networks and the mushrooms they produce.
The static version of the collage is featured in Broccoli Magazine’s publication, Mushroom People!
